Zinc and Sulfur propellant
From PyroGuide
This propellant is easily prepared, but suffers from a number of disadvantages such as a very low specific impulse, high density, and high sensitivity to friction and shock. It has a very high burn rate and produces large amounts of smoke and a very bright green flame.
-This is Commercialy known as Zinkit, and has a maximum pressure of about 175 kg per cm2 in confined space. It is also used as amateur rocket fuel.
The composition is a simple stoichiometric mixture of zinc and sulphur, both finely powdered:
Zinc | 67 |
Sulphur | 33 |
